The Romantic Minimalism Photoshoot

We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting the word out about our new Romantic Minimalism collection!  Last month we had the pleasure of working with New York City photographer (and Hasselblad Master award winner) Joao ‘Milkman’ Carlos.  We shot everything in Downtown Toronto in two of my favourite areas- King Street East between Jarvis and Sherbourne, and the Historic Distillery District.

The historic character of the area was the perfect setting for the vintage 1950′s look we were aiming for.  We wanted to keep it modern but give it an elegant, vintage 1950′s feel.  The photos were black and white, and the inspiration for the hair and make-up and styling was Audrey Hepburn.
